Are you insured and bonded?
A. At Oakville
Maids we are not only bonded, we have the most complete insurance available
in the business. Your home, our team members and our company is totally covered
for any situation.
Q.
Who will be in my house?
A. Our Cleaning Teams consist of one worker and one supervisor. Both
of the team members take part in the cleaning and the supervisor is responsible
for inspecting the completed work thoroughly before deeming the job complete.
To increase your comfort and satisfaction, we do everything in our power to
ensure that the same Cleaning Team visits your house every time we do the
service.
All of our employees are professionally trained and our training system focuses
just as much on customer service as it does on cleaning procedure. We hire
only the best and all of our staff members have undergone thorough background
checks.
Q.
Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?
A. Unlike many of our competitors, at Oakville Maids no “cleaning
for the maids” is required. (That’s our job right?) We understand
that you are busy and that is why you are ordering the service so we don’t
mind doing a few breakfast dishes (within reason please!) or picking a few
forgotten things up off the floor and placing them neatly out of reach of
the vacuum cleaner. This is just one example of the commitment we show our
valued customers.
Q.
How do I pay for the service?
A. We accept cheques filled out to Oakville Maids Home Service or
cash payments. Since we do not feel the need to bind our clients into a contract,
(we prefer to earn your loyalty through excellent customer service) the work
is pay as you go. Please leave payment on the kitchen counter or tabletop
for our team members to pick-up on the day you are scheduled for your cleaning.
Q.
Who has access to the keys to my home?
A. Only the Supervisor of the Cleaning Team will have access to the
keys to your home. The keys are number coded and the cross reference list
is secured under the company security system. You can be confident that you
are in capable hands with Oakville Maids; we know how important the safety
of your home and your family is to you and we treat your property with the
respect it deserves.
Q.
What do I do if I want something extra done or wish to change or cancel my
cleaning?
A. Please contact our office if you have any special requests, changes
or cancellations. If you wish to re-schedule or cancel a service we ask that
you give us 48 hours notice. Unfortunately, if you do need to cancel a service
and don’t give the requested notice a cancellation fee will be charged
to compensate for our lost time. This problem can be avoided by providing
us with a key to your home.
Q.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
A. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a statutory holiday, we will
contact you to re- schedule for another day that is convenient for you.
